WHAT IS THE MAKERSPACE? A playground for creativity, the makerspace is an open-access DIY workshop and fabrication studio. We are a community-based space where entrepreneurs, artists, makers, teachers, and students come together to learn and work. The makerspace is the ideal place to build almost anything you can imagine. Our workshop provides access to an unbelievable set of high quality machines and tools – plus, all the training you need to use the equipment and build new skills. HOW DOES IT WORK? It‘s simple! Anyone can become a member and may attend classes. The makerspace offers over 40 in-depth classes that are taught by our highly trained experts in their field. Our memberships give you unlimited access to reserve and use the makerspace’s tools upon successful completion of equipment-specific Safety and Basic Use (SBU) classes. Experienced and approachable staff are available full time to help you develop ideas and improve technical skills. Whatever your background or skill sets, come in and prepare to be inspired!
